Thank you to Tree Riesener for a thoughtful review of Postcards from the Dead Letter Office. Please take a moment to visit her blog.
Today I achieve my childhood dream of publishing a book! There are a lot of people to thank, but for now I’ll keep it to my husband, Scott, and to my editors at Burlesque Press, Jeni and Daniel Wallace, who are responsible for this large poster of my book cover which I’ll be cuddling with later this evening. Many thanks!
Look what Edgar found on our doorstep!
My forthcoming book POSTCARDS FROM THE DEAD LETTER OFFICE officially has a cover. This is my debut poetry collection coming out early next year from Burlesque Press.
The cover image was hand-drawn by artist Andrea Tan.
My poem “Gifted” has been published in the latest issue of The Raintown Review.
Last night, it was a privilege to participate in Poetic Feats of Strength IV in Philly, as well as share the mic with fellow poets Sheila Squillante, Shevaun Brannigan, Sandra Beasley, and Annie Won (left to right past me below).
It’s been a long time coming, but I can finally say my debut poetry collection, POSTCARDS FROM THE DEAD LETTER OFFICE, is forthcoming this year from Burlesque Press.
My thanks to the Tanka Society of America for awarding one of my tanka an honorable mention in the Sanford Goldstein International Tanka Contest. Congrats to all the winners!
